Three of us headed out to Hollister for a spur of the moment off road trip.
RESQready posted about the Pismo trip on 6-30-02 and a out of town DodgeDakota.com member, Dan Gruber replies his interest. Well Dan wanted to check out Hollister since he had not been there before so we went!
RESQready- DJ, Dan Gruber-Dan and ForeXFour-Chris, all DodgeDakota.com members, met at the gates before they opened and got a chance to check out the trucks and get to know each other. We waited for another person to show but he did not so we entered the SVRA park!
We took about thirty minutes of video as well. The bad thing is, the pictures or video still do not show the angles of the hills we are climbing very well. Since we are always looking straight at hem it looks flat but it is far from flat. I think with some of the different perspectives help a little.

Dan on the first little hill by the entrance.
Dan was a little uncomfortable with the first drop in we did so he around and in. But he came around real quick. It's difficult to drop in when you do not know what you are droppin in on.

So we climb to the peak and it was fogged in at the top only.
This was crazy. Here we are at the peak and if it was clearer it would be a great shot. My son Justin 10 years old is taking these pictures of us. We each have a camera and set it where we want him to hold it and shot the photo. It was a good laugh!!! |
