Here are different veiws from Hollister
Hollister Hills is a great place to go. It costs four dollars for a all day pass and you can camp out there to. There are all different types of
obsticles to go through or around. They mark the trails for difficulty but if you go during or after a major rain it is almost impassable
on most trails. The mud is a thick clay and you can hardly stand on it when real bad. I tried to get good pictures of when I got stuck.
I could not safely walk around to get the front view without fear I would fall and drop or land on the camera. We were slippin bad.

A sloppy day at Hollister
This is John in his '02 quad cab out for the first time in it. There was a guy up around the bend that slid over the side so we were thinking if we should wait and try or turn around. We did turn around after seeing the mess that they were in. The white Toyota was to far to make a turn so he had to wait. We had to hold the trucks up on the road to keep them from sliding off. It was not to bad but we played it safe since it was so tight.
Climbing through the hills.
This is at the entrance to the off road area. All through the park there are areas like this where the water gathers and makes it fun.
These hill are kind of steep
Some more trails at the top of the heights.
RESQready first time at Hollister
I get to be the leader and show him around. Atleast it was dry. We had a great time testing out the Bilsteins and the Rancho Shocks. I guess it all comes down to if you want the flexability to stiffin the ride if needed. But the Bilstiens seem to automatically adjust to the conditions according to DJ.
Some of the views are real nice up here.
Since we get there real early we are usually the only ones when we get to the top of Hector Heights. Coastal mountain ranges at every turn.
Here is a great view if it were clear.
Since we usually go after or during rain we never get a clear view. The cloud tops in the background are hugging the mountain tops that separate the coast from the valley. It is cool how the clouds form and stay at a distance. Kind of like the fog rollin in over the coastal hills. But the fog rolling in over the hills is the best to watch.
